Bring No-Kill to Guthrie Animal Shelter!

Guthrie Animal Shelter is blessed to have wonderful resources for people looking to adopt their new best friend, but they need your help!

The Guthrie Animal Shelter is so close to becoming a no-kill shelter, and with the community’s help, they can get there.

We are asking residents of Logan County to work together to spread the word that our shelters need folks to adopt, foster, and volunteer. Every adoption, every shared post, and every volunteer hour makes a difference.

Join your neighbors in supporting their efforts by signing this pledge and learning how you can volunteer or spread the word.

After signing, share it on your social media channels and neighborhood pages, and together we can save them all!

Why is this important?

To become a no-kill shelter, 90% of the animals need a live outcome. The Guthrie Animal Shelter is already so close to reaching this milestone, but they need community help.

Recently, the City of Guthrie took an important step forward by passing a community cat ordinance and launching community cat programming, showing a strong commitment to humane and effective solutions for cats in the community. This progress demonstrates what is possible when residents, local leaders, and shelters work together!

Let's keep that momentum going and show Guthrie Animal Shelter staff and leadership how much their work means to the community by showing up to adopt, foster and volunteer!

Together, we can make the Guthrie Animal Shelter no-kill!
