Los Angeles Board of Animal Services Meeting

We're asking animal advocates to show up at Tuesday's Board of Animal Services Commissioners meeting to support returning LA to no-kill.

Los Angeles Animal Services is in dire condition for both pets and people, with up to 200 animals dying each week. This meeting is an opportunity to speak up on behalf of LA pets, and urge the city to make the changes needed to save lives.

While we encourage you to show up in-person, there are virtual options for attending and making public comment. If you're interested in making public comment, we're happy to help you with talking points. Please email Erinn O'Connor ([email protected]) if you'd like to make public comment and would like assistance.

Please see the meeting agenda for more information.

You can meet us at City Hall or join Brittany Thorn, Best Friends Los Angeles Executive Director, ahead of the Board meeting at California Pita (201 N Los Angeles St., Suite 9) at 8:30 a.m. We will then walk over to city hall together around 9:00a.m.
